  4. Here are two icons for the current release of AmiTCP (Version 4.3 PRO).

  6. After seeing the icons included by NSDi in the patch to 4.3 Pro I can
  7. only say that I personally was disgusted by the icons supplied - Really
  8. modern looking 4 colour numbers that looked as if they were knocked up a
  9. few minutes before uploading the patches to AMINET.

  11. Full credit for Networking code but icon designers not!

  13. These two icons aren't that much better but they sure are a little
  14. easier on the eye than the originals.

  16. If you use AMITCP 4.3 properly you wouldn't really use these Icons a lot
  17. anyway, but there is no reason you couldn't use them out on the
  18. Workbench to start your Provider Dialscripts (using IconX).

  20. To use them: Just copy them as Start AmiTCP.info and Stop AmiTCP.info on
  21. top of your current 4.3 Icons. If your worried about tooltypes then I
  22. suggest you use a simple tool like Icon Update (MWB2.0) or MUI Reicon or
  23. a similar tool, or if your really worried - start Icon Edit (SYS:Tools/)
  24. and drop your existing AMITCP icons on the window and then from the
  25. menus choose "Load Both Images" and load the icons supplied here.

  27. WB 3.X users should "Auto top left" before saving these icons.

  29. They are 8 bit planes deep unfotunately, but hey - I didn't write Icon
  30. Edit. Iconian is a good bit stripping icon editor if you want to save a
  31. little memory.

  33. Any way take 'em or leave 'em if you like the default NSDi Icons.
